Lockdown has been tough going for everyone but for parents of younger kids it’s been a challenge of epic proportions. Teacher, playmate, peacekeeper, PE guru, cook and employee are just some of the different roles parents are playing on a daily basis. Split into two groups (science and engineering) each project comes with a brief, method, a list of materials and an explanation as to how the science behind it works. Genius.
Arla Foods have teamed up with Magical Breakfast and Food4Heroes providing enough Cravendale milk for 4.8 million bowls of cereals to ensure children most at risk don’t miss out on a nutritious start to the day. Plus they have created an interactive farm with fun facts about animal welfare and sustainability that can be accessed via their website.
Bird’s Eye are another brand who have recognised the pressure on parents and dished up a tasty selection of life hacks and fun-filled activities designed to beat the boredom at home. And Hasbro’s Bring Home the Fun (family-focused resources and fun ways to connect at home!) is another great example of a brand recognising the need of the consumer and rallying to make our new every day just that little bit easier.
