Entries for 2027 open in Spring 2026!

Fill in our simple entry form – it only takes 5 minutes and all you need is a 75 word consumer description. Best of all, it’s completely free. Once you’ve entered, you are committed to the full process – so make sure you have everything you need to enter.

To be eligible for 2027 entry, your product must have been launched in between January 2025 and November 2026 and demonstrate innovation in one or more key areas – including functionality, design, packaging, or recipe. For full details, download our Terms & Conditions here.

JURY DAY

Our esteemed panel of journalists and industry experts assess all entered products for quality and to make sure they meet our innovation criteria at our Jury Day in September.

SHOPPERS VOTE

If your product is selected to go into consumer research there is a fee of £4,950.

Over 8,000 shoppers vote in our consumer research conducted by Kantar. It is 100% independent, trusted, and reliable research – and whatever the outcome you receive a full copy of the research report, valued at over £10,000.

Research reports will be sent to all entrants in February 2027.

If your product is voted category winner there is a fee of £20,950.

You are now a Product of the Year winner! Winners may use their logo across all packaging, marketing, advertising, and communications for 12 months, seeing a strong uplift in sales. They also benefit from our unparalleled media coverage, including features in The Sun, Future titles (Woman’s Own, Woman, Woman’s Weekly etc.), The Mirror, Capital Radio London & Manchester FM, Netmums, Independent Retail News (IRN) and many more – as well as a variety of bloggers, vloggers, and social media influencers.

Product of the Year is excited to continue our partnership with The Sun with a 4 page pull out dedicated to Product of the Year and its winners. This will be part of a greatly enhanced multi-platform activity to support the winners and give unprecedented additional coverage – all this for FREE.

Results are revealed to all competitors in mid/end November with the winners formally announced at our awards show at the end of January 2027.
