23 Jan Our Awards Show is Back
YOU know what you are getting with January. There’s Veganuary, Dry January and a few New Year’s resolutions rapidly running out of steam.
But just as all that starts sounding a bit ‘bleughh’ along comes that other great start-of-the-year staple – the Product of the Year awards. And suddenly things start perking up!
Although the last two awards shows have sadly not taken place in person, this year we are back with a bang, and in an exciting new venue.
The 2023 awards will be held at the world-famous Quaglino’s restaurant In London’s St James’s on Wednesday, 25 January. Founded in 1929, the restaurant has been the scene of some of the most famous gatherings – and gossip – over the past century.
The Product of the Year party aims to continue that great tradition.
It’s high time we brought together all those who have been working behind the scenes transform, tweak or test the products that will improve the lives of the Great British consumer. We at Product of the Year know just how hard those teams have been working.
Over the past 12 months, under the darkest of economic clouds, shoppers have rightly begun to ask more than ever from the brands they buy. It means the items they place in their trolley must deliver more than ever before. And, judging by the entries we had for this year’s awards, the brands have answered that call for innovation, and then some.
Now it its 19th year, Product of the Year has witnessed difficult economic times before and we’ve seen how talent and teamwork have can rise to that challenge together. When our 2023 Product of the Year winners are announced on Wednesday, we know how hard they will have worked to win the consumers’ vote of confidence.
These may feel like dark times, but we also know that we’ll look back on these months as a time of great innovation and change.
