18 Jun Dad’s the Word!
Dads, they really do deserve the best and what better a day to show them how special they are to us than Father’s Day. We take a look at a selection of gift ideas that will bring a smile to their faces.
Be a dutiful offspring this Father’s Day with the gift of grooming. Dollar Shave Club Starter Pack is an inexpensive, yet premium feeling, kit that will make even the hardiest of stubble as good as disappear. Much like former Product of the Year winner Gillette Labs Razor with Exfoliating Bar, which does multiple jobs in one and would be suitable for those dads who take skincare very seriously. The reviews say it all, using this razor will deliver the ultimate “Smooooootthhhh!!” shave and who doesn’t want that?
We suspect sweet-toothed dads won’t frown at receiving something to satisfy their cravings. Cadburys has launched a Dairy Milk special edition bar with the option to ‘print your own message’ on the packaging. No greeting card needed! Another former winner of ours, Mars M&M Chocolates bars is a low-fuss option to be picked up in the supermarket enroute to Father’s Day lunch.
The drinks cabinet is a dad’s pride and joy. If whisky is their thing, buy them a bottle of everyone’s favourite Tennessean whisky, Jack Daniels, drunk neat, with a splash of coke or soda. More of a beer drinker? You can’t go wrong with a silky-smooth Guinness or last year’s Product of the Year beer category champ, Stella Artois Unfiltered Lager, for a dad who likes to try new things.
Of course, we couldn’t finish this blog without mentioning gadgets. If we know anything about dads, it’s that many absolutely love tech and gadget wizardry. The NEBULA Capsule Wi-Fi Mini Projector is one for the cool dads out there. Now they can get the full home-cinema experience watching the same old three films they may or may not have on rotation. While the Oral-B iO6 Black Onyx Electric Toothbrush is a toothbrush for the ages with all the very best tooth-tech features (AI, smart pressure sensor etc…).
So, if anyone asks, dad’s the word until Sunday!
