With only a few days left till the FINAL deadline for entries to Product of the Year, we’re shining a light on some of our past winners and today, we’re in the mood for a sugar boost… We’re celebrating all sweet treats, from chocolate to sweets and confectionery.
Time for tea (and cake)?
Last year, Cadbury’s Crunchie Celebration Cake woo’ed consumers, with this heavenly honeycomb treat. We like nothing more than a slice of this with a hot drink or glass of bubbly. We love to see our favourite chocolate bars reinterpreted and translated into a different product entirely.
Another tasty winner from last year – Fruittella Curiosities – won over the voting public with new products from their Curiosities range: ‘By the Sea’ and ‘In the Snow’ for the snack adventurers among us. Perfetti Van Melle bagged a double win with Fruitella and Mentos Pure Fresh Gum.
Who could forget the mouth-watering (and genius!) M&M’s Bars for Product of the Year 2020? 165 grams of solid chocolate with M&Ms speckled in for good measure. M&M’s Minis are a fun take on the iconic crunchy candy shell and delicious chocolate filling; shrunken down into bite-sized fun- Perfect for snacking or adding a pop of color to any treat! One wonders what’s next for the Mars Inc.
Naturally, you won’t be able to resist Ritter Sport’s indulgent Crunchy Duo Chocolate Bar; featuring two layers of rich milk and dark chocolate, packed with crunchy roasted nuts and crispy wafers… But not to be outdone by the irresistible Aero Peppermint Share Bar from Nestlé, a 2023 launch that’s set to become a fan favorite. With its signature bubbly texture and refreshing peppermint flavour, this bar is perfect for sharing—or keeping all to yourself!
