31 Jan Oh, What a Night!
What do Mentos, Starling Bank and NIVEA have in common? They’re all Product of the Year 2025 winners among 39 innovative products/brands to win awards this year.
Set amid the art-deco glamour of the iconic venue Queen Elizabeth II once deemed her favourite restaurant, Quaglino’s, the awards ceremony was a night to remember.
TV comedian, Tom Allen, was on hand to present awards in his signature ‘punny’ style, and Product of the Year CEO, Mike Nolan, spoke of the role of ‘innovation in turbulent times’ as winners accepted their trophies.

As with previous years, a mixture of big names including Unilever, Reckitt and Kimberley-Clark were triumphant alongside independents and newcomers including The British Snack Co. and Bensons for Beds.
A Product of the Year first arrived in the form of Starling Bank’s Personal Current Account – winning the first-ever financial services category and paving the way for future finance stars.
Every brand demonstrated innovation within their categories over the last 18 months, wowing the 8,000-strong voting public (conducted by the world’s largest survey company Kantar). No one will get logo envy as each winner has earned the right to display the iconic Product of the Year logo – which has an 81% logo recognition among shoppers. A true honour.
In the spirit of excellence, Sydnie Christmas, winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2024 dazzled attendees at the end of an unforgettable night.
Congratulations to the winners!
