The EURO Final Snack-Off – who are you supporting?

The EURO Final Snack-Off – who are you supporting?

There was everything to play for in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Final – and what better excuse to gather your friends, line up the snacks, and cheer on your team with a feast of spectacular products?

This weekend, pub punters and home spectators were glued to the screens as the mighty Lionesses triumphed over Spain’s La Roja (not Rioja!) in what truly was a showdown of champions. And while the players battled it out on the pitch, spectators got in the spirit with a spread inspired by the best of British and Spanish treats. Product of the Year came in strong with a drinks and snacks menu to suit either side.

If You’re Team England…
There’s nothing more British than settling in with a pint and a packet of crisps, and this year, the recently launched Quavers’ Red Leicester flavour crisps came at an opportune moment. Light, curly, and now joining fan favourites including Cheese, BBQ Sauce & Prawn Cocktail, these nostalgic snacks brought a playful kick to pre-match nibbles. Paired with a chilled bottle of St Austell All British Pale Ale, a refreshingly hoppy brew that felt like summer in a glass… the perfect toast for every England goal.

If that wasn’t enough snacking, McCain’s Vibes, those crispy, seasoned potato slices, were ideal for oven-baking during halftime. And dessert? Haribo sweets and the ever-iconic Twister ice cream were guaranteed crowd-pleasers. The combo of chewy, fruity goodness and creamy, swirly ice cream is as much a part of British summer as football itself.

If You Backed Spain…
Spain’s food culture is all about flavour and flair, and match-day snacks reflected just that. Kicking things off with a cold Madri Excepcional – the Spanish-inspired lager that’s become a UK favourite – and a bag of Torres crisps, those luxurious, olive-oil-cooked beauties that come in tantalising flavours like truffle or Iberico ham.

For the sweet tooth, Rondannis chocolates were a rich, indulgent treat that felt like a victory in themselves. And for something light and fun to sip, M&S’s Lightly Sparkling White and Red Sangria poured over ice with fresh orange slices delivered instant fiesta vibes… win or lose.

The Final Whistle Feast
Whether you hosted an England-themed watch party with Quavers, McCain’s Vibes, and Twisters in the freezer, or created a Spanish tapas-style spread with Torres crisps and sangria, these picks helped make the Women’s EURO 2025 final unforgettable.

Come Sunday evening, whether you were belting out Sweet Caroline or shouting ¡Vamos!, it was all about good snacks and great company.

And if your product didn’t make it to the final, there’s still a chance to win at the Product of the Year awards – but vamos, deadline for entries is less than a week away (31st July)!
