Ones to Watch: Get into the Bank Holiday ‘Spirit’

Ones to Watch: Get into the Bank Holiday ‘Spirit’

No plans yet? Don’t worry. The August Bank Holiday is almost here, and that means one thing: party time… or time to relax, whatever floats your boat! Whether you’ll be in the thick of the crowds at Notting Hill Carnival, picnic-ing with pals in the park or relaxing at home with a book, we have some tipples to delight.

Juicy is how we’d describe this first drink. Smirnoff Crush Blueberry & Pomegranate is the latest addition to the Smirnoff Crush family, which is served up in a 6% ABV, 440ml can, launching exclusively through independent convenience retailers (a nice touch) before a wider rollout in September. It presents some very on trend fruit flavours, while using bold packaging that invites wandering eyes in busy cooler units and is designed for easy convenience. So before arriving at your event, get down to your local ‘offie’ and grab some cool cans.

Despite the mythical name, this next release is no legend. Kraken is dipping a tentacle into RTD with the launch of two bold flavours: Kraken Black Spiced Rum & Cola and Black Spiced Rum & Ginger. This is fun *in all caps*.  Already landing in convenience and selected retailers, grab a can or go home!

And if you’re angling for something a little cool and classy. Then how about… Kocktail. The small-batch cocktail brand has introduced its RTDs in 100ml glass single bottles. Proper cocktail credentials, a premium glass format and a serve-sized proposition make this one feel more like a night out in miniature than a drink from the fridge.

Of course, every great party needs an option for those taking a break from booze or tee-totallers. Enter Canvino Bianco Zero Alcohol, a 0.0% sparkling wine alternative in a colourful 200ml can. Created with flexible drinkers and moderation-led occasions in mind, it taps into the rise of ‘zebra striping’ – alternating alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks throughout the same occasion. Plus, the elegantly compact bottle means no one is left clutching a giant bottle of something they don’t want to finish. This is so delicious however that you’ll probably want another!

So, whatever your bank holiday mood, these drinks are here to make it all a little more zesty, fruity and vibrant. But #CouldItBeProductOfTheYear?
