Meet Mr Ridiculously Good’s Smooth Tomato Bolognese sauce: a playful new product born from a collaboration with Mr Men & Little Miss that launched this July in Tesco stores.
Crafted specifically with little eaters in mind, this sauce blends three hidden vegetables – onion, celery and carrot – into a silky-smooth Bolognese base with no added sugar and made from all natural ingredients. The result is a ‘mum’s secret recipe’ style (straight from the jar) tomato pasta, with a familiar flavour. The good thing is this is packed with nutrition without sticking out to veg-critical young detectives. Winner, winner, bolognese dinner!
To bring the new recipe to life, Heinz unveiled a new Mr Men character – Mr Ridiculously Good – to front the launch. He’s cute, cheeky and rather red in the face. Around the same time, a limited‑edition children’s book introduces how Mr Good becomes Mr Ridiculously Good, tying storytelling and dinner in a way that turns eating into an imaginative experience rather than a chore.
